This page has some of my most recent pieces. Some are commissions and others I just make. If you are interested in commissioning a sculpture you can go to the Commissioning page where I explain the basics and provide a gallery and lexicon of what I do.

My outdoor Kinetic sculptures are one of a kind pieces that are activated by the energy of wind. Breeze is a better word than wind because it takes very little to make my sculptures move. The primary idea behind all my work is to see shapes move in space. The quality of movement, therefore is critical. It must be fluid, graceful, and elegant. The shapes of my designs, even the figurative ones, have been manipulated to complement the motion so there is synergy between shape and movement. The medium I use is mixed: copper, brass, aluminum, iron, wood and fabric. All the fastenings are either brass or stainless steel and all other aspects of the construction and materials of the design are meant to last indefinitely. This also means maintenance is minimal. There are bearings where two parts move against one another, primarily the UHMW material known as Delrin. If ball bearings are used then they are sealed.
