This is the first in what I hope to be a series of segmented designs. In this case the three segments move up and down and back and forth. It is 8' long and 2' wide. Because of the size I have used rocks for counter weight. The wings are aluminum and the rest is steel. Bearings are made of blocks of UHMW.
