The over all size is 5' x 16' and consists of segements that are moved by a crank attached to a reduction gear. The materials are painted wood and various mixed media such as stainless mixing bowl, high polished aluminum and broom. Each segment is moved by one crank so for all segments to move there needs to be a student on each crank.

There is a separate and smaller unit in another hallway which is also part of the commission.
